With an American/French-Canadian ancestry and a humble upbringing, Jim comes from a large family that rivals the Waltons. From carrying papers to working the tobacco fields in summer, a good work ethic was instilled at a young age. Here’s more…
1972 Obtains his Real Estate License at age 18 for investing in residential & commercial properties.
1974 Attends New England Tech daytime. Trucker at night. Jim graduates at the very top of his class.
1976 Serves a 2 year apprenticeship at a local TV shop & becomes a Certified Electronic Technician.
1978 Opens an Electronics Retail Store in Avon, CT with 10 employees including 3 technicians.
1979 Is President of The Electronics Service Assoc. & teaches repairing the latest consumer electronics.
1997 Jim is hired by and sings for one season in the highly praised choral group, CONCORA.
1998 After 20 years the store & commercial property are sold and Florida beckons!

1998 Employed by Sony’s Direct Response Center in Ft Myers for 11 years as a Quality Analyst and Trainer for call center agents in the United States, India and the Philippines.
1999 Served as President of the Summerwind HOA
2004 Educated at the Florida Realtor Association and obtains his Florida Real Estate License
2005 $1M Producer for Platinum Realty Services
2011 Full-Time RVing becomes a reality & Cypress Woods RV Resort becomes home.

2015 Jim sells his first Cypress Woods RV Resort Listing. Word of mouth brings more listings & inspires his commitment to promote ownership in the resort by launching CWresales.com (previously JimPicard.com)

Jim is truly grateful for the communities’ support and is happy Cypress Woods RV Resort is his permanent home. His passion for singing continues!
